Naas Community Church grew out of a charismatic prayer meeting in the local CBS school in the 1980s. Later on the meetings were held in different private homes, and later still in the Town House hotel. Finally the church bought its own premises in the old Lawlor’s hotel complex at Millbrook, Naas. Although the church has grown, it still feels like a family. Meetings are in a relaxed style and there is an opportunity for everyone to participate in some way. No meeting would be complete without a cup of tea and a chat. Everyone is different and there is no pressure to be like someone else. But one thing we all agree on is that God is able to make things happen and can bring change where it’s needed.
